We current looking for a new pastor to lead our congregation!

Betty was born and raised in Sarnia; baptized and married right here in Sarnia First.  Except for the first 5 years of marriage when she lived in Chatham with her husband John, she has lived in the  Sarnia area (and been a member of Sarnia First) all her life. Working in the church office gives her lots of opportunities to speak to people within the church and the neighbourhood. 

In her free time Betty likes to read, knit, crochet, Sudoku, and spend time with her 8 grandchildren. 

Julie Huls is the Children’s Ministry Director at Sarnia First CRC! Julie is excited to step into this role and grateful for the opportunity to serve and minister to your children and their families. Julie and her husband, Nick, together we have 3 beautiful children. Julie is originally from Sarnia and her family just moved back here about a couple years ago. Since arriving they have attended First and are blessed to be serving and a part of a wonderful church family and community.

We have been incredibly blessed with a growing number of children here at First and Julie hopes she can help create a safe, fun, and inviting environment for kids to come to learn about and encounter the love of Jesus.
